Here's my monthly alternative income for June 2008 broken down by source:
Adsense: $159.49
Kontera: $10.88
Adify: $10.60
Revolution Money Exchange: $10
Bidvertiser: $10.54
Total Alternative Income: $201.51
My alternative income was down across all sources even though I had slightly higher traffic on my sites. So far I have been unsuccessful in diversifying my alternative online stream from google adsense, which accounts for the majority of my alternative income.
Kontera and Adify were way down this month, compared to last month. Kontera always seems to have some maintenance projects going on, which possibly affects their reporting of clicks.
Adify, which earned over $31 in May for me, with the same level of traffic, produced only $10.60. The reason for Adify's poor performance is that so many sites have signed up for them, that they just don't have enough ad inventory for display.
Revolution money exchange has been good for me over the past few months, but I expect it to completely dry up in the next few months. It used to be a very good deal for people to simply sign up and get $25 which they could use right away. I would get $10 for the referral. But now the bonus for signing up has been discontinued leaving little incentive for people to try out RME.
I have used Bidvertiser sporadically since January and I just got over $10 in revenues. The positive side of Bidvertiser is that their payouts start at $10, unlike the $100 minimum payment that Adsense, Adify and Kontera have. The problem is that most of their advertisements look pretty questionable to me. I might be discountinuing this after I get my payment.
Basically I am looking for an advertising solution which would allow me to display banners on my sites, where I am paid not based off the number of clicks, but based off of displaying banners or links. If you are aware of a reputable program like that, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I signed up for Text Link Ads but so far haven't been hugely successful in getting any deals done.

Very impresive numbers. I'm removing all pages that have bidvertiser ads and replacing them with Adsense. How many sites are included in your Adsense totals?
text link ads has taken 12 months for it to ramp up.
Ralphjp,
Thanks for stopping by. I recently read somewhere that having ads that look like adesne is against the terms of service and might make your account to get banned. I have 3 sites in total ( without counting this one, as it's main purpose is to track my monthly passive income).
AMM,
What did you mean about TLA? I signed up last month and so far it's been pretty slow. Who knows however, over time if my sites become more valuable I will be able to charge more for my links.
